Chensational Puppets to hit the big screen

Well Chensational Puppets has just made a big step in its company accomplishments this past year. Here is the most recent part of that journey.

This is the face of a little cat character I have been working on for the past month. What is it for? Well I was approached a little while back by the prop master for a new film being shot in and around the Greater Toronto Area. The movie is called It's a Boy Girl Thing and it is the latest project for Elton John's production company called Rocket Pictures.














The film is described as having "American Pie" type humor and the cat is going to be involved in a little stunt scene. The slap stick type humor will use the puppet/prop in the film for a scence where the cat flys down a hallway and bounces off a wall. I am happy to be able to provide this stunt double for the little kitty in the movie.














I will post more information soon. The process of building the cat was a fun journey of experimenting with design ideas. Stay tuned for some a future blog entry with pictures and steps that I used in the building of the cat.
